Tidbits of Useless Information
- My name, Anna Kirstin, literally translates to “Grace of God.”
- My favorite “snack” has always been plain shaved ice.
- I used to be terrified of thunderstorms. I managed to conquer the fear and now I enjoy them.
- Although I won't go as far as to say that I suffer from arachnophobia - I hate spiders. They scare me.
- I watch the movie Gone With the Wind almost every time I have to stay home sick.
- I've changed my major five times - History, Anthropology (Archeology), Criminal Justice, Psychology, Biology/Pre-Med - always returning to Nursing in between.
- I watched Pet Semetery when I was seven and slept with my bathroom light on for four years.
- I have two tattoos. One I forget I have and the other I regret getting - a sunflower on my wrist of all places.
- I can't stand complete silence. I have to have some kind of background noise.
- I really dislike getting gifts. I mean it! I feel obligated. Money from relatives I gladly accept though.
- I was almost expelled my first year of college for breaking the nose of a boy a teacher assigned me to work with. (He pushed me.)
- I eat candy according to their colors and from least favorite to favorite.
- My friends swear they can tell what mood I'm in by asking me how my Fish is doing.
- I never spend the night anywhere without dragging along the large stuffed duck I like to use as a pillow.
- I hate the scent of cigarette smoke - with a deep seeded passion.
- I'm an “easily distracted driver”. I've wrecked six times at last count - only once involving another car. The car insurance company ended up canceling my policy for two years. (In the U.S., you can't legally drive without insurance.)
- My favorite place to study is in a bubble bath.
